The Bridie Wells recordings of ‘House Dances’ at Reacashlagh, circa 1960’s - 1970’s

The recordings below were transferred from reel to reel tapes. At present most of the singers and musicians have not been accurately identified and community and family knowledge is needed. Some names suggested for the musicians and singers are Joe O’Connor (Garrydine) & Mrs O’Connor (Garrydine), Paddy O’Sullivan (Moulcore), Eugie O’Shea (Cappanagroun) Paddy Roger O’Connell, Spider (Caherlehillan), Griffin and others.

Below are the complete recordings labled ‘Tape 1 of 4’ etc. For ease of listening and play back the recordings have been split into tracks, for example ‘Tape 1 of 4 Track 6’ etc.
