Runaway Horse

In this double jig, Hanna recalls to mind the night the clatter of a solitary horse’s hooves roused many of the residents as the animal cantered through the town in the small hours of the morning. Earlier that day, the horse belonging to Paddy Cournane had escaped during the races and could not be found.
