Treasa was the daughter of the renowned fiddle player Eugene O’Sullivan (Moulcore). She married the son of Liam Bradley of Fearann na hAbhann/Farrannahow. Liam was a great help to Séamus Fenton when he was compiling his book on the compositions of Tomás Rua Ó Súilleabháin. Treasa was a fiddle player and taught music locally. One of her pupils was her nephew John Hartley, some of the tunes she taught him are available on this site. In 1942 the collector Liam de Noraidh visited Treasa in her home to collect the tune ‘Gol Na mBan San Ár’ from her. She had learned the tune from her father Eugene many years earlier. This was the only tune he collected from her.
