Pat O’Leary

Pat O’Leary of Ballynabloun, The Glen is a gentleman who is a well of knowledge on the genealogy and history of the area. He has a deep interest in the culture and social fabric that holds a community together and has produced a booklet titled ‘Welcome to a Kerry Glen/Fáilte go dtí An Gleann’. I am very grateful to Pat who has been a great help to Binneas over the years with advice and direction and has donated some important material. The recordings below were made in The Glen in 1970's by Pat's cousin Phil O'Leary Burke and Pat wants to gratefully acknowledge her donation of the recordings to The Binneas Collection.
